About Me
Pieces of My Career
My Experience
I have five years of experience in the publishing industry, as an acquisitions editor for Macmillan Publishing and as a development editor for a small independent press, where I also facilitated the peer review process for academic manuscripts. For over 10 years, I worked as a freelance writer and editor. I provided editing services to assist various authors with monographs, book chapters, and journal articles prior to publication. My library experience includes library instruction, reference, cataloguing, and special collections work in academic and public libraries.
My Education
I am currently a Ph.D. student in the College of Communication and Information at Kent State University. I have a Master's Degree in Library & Information Science from Kent State University and a Master's Degree in Interpersonal Social Work from Indiana University. My Bachelor's Degree from Butler University is in International Studies.
